Blueberry Fire Cider
Blueberry Fire Cider
Fire Cider is a traditional natural remedy made from a combination of Apple Cider Vinegar and pungent, spicy herbs. These spicy kitchen herbs are not only antimicrobial but also help to physically remove bacteria and viruses from your body while also stimulating the digestive system.
Our Blueberry Fire Cider is a yummy blend of sweet and tangy with the perfect amount of spiciness thrown in. This blend also tastes wonderful in sparking water or added to bone broths.

I have tried sooo many fire ciders and the majority of them I cannot take. They burn going down and most are unbearable for me/ This blueberry fire cider is so smooth and I feel it is doing the job of keeping me healthy without damaging my esophagus . Thank you so much
While I have yet to try one of Megan's products I haven't enjoyed (for more than 3 years now), I've more or less kept the mentioned three products in stock since the pandemic hit. (For context, I have had all my shots. I have less exposure to covid and other infections since I work from home, but sometimes that means I'm a bit more susceptible since I'm not regularly around sick college kids like I used to be.)
I add some ginger juice to my homemade cafe au lait almost every morning, and often some cacao mushroom honey as well. I'm a bit leery of cacao since I have mood disorders and cacao is arguably psycho-affective, but I haven't had any negative reactions at all to that honey. It's good on everything! I just don't overdo it.
A couple weeks ago I had a covid scare... which I discovered the last day my GP was practicing locally. (I had the equivalent of just over 100°F, which is very unusual for me.) Naturally my insurance provider hadn't bothered to tell me I could not even self-pay at the hospital's walk-in clinic until I was established with another GP there -- which only after much heroism on the part of the staff, was still going to be three weeks later. Three weeks where I could only go to a random critical-care walk-in. And I might have covid for the first time, and I live alone.
I went home and started the elderberry syrup routine of one dose per four hours. I added a dose of the fire cider when I woke up and went to bed. (You might think you need a cough syrup afterward since the fire cider has a decent wallop, but I find the cider semi-cauterizes my throat and actually staves off night coughing.) I kept up with the ginger juice as usual.
Granted, I also hydrated like mad, took some Tylenol for the fever, took a daily Airborne tab, and threw lots of ripe fresh fruit and veggies in my diet for the next few days. I also regularly utilize Barlean's flaxseed oil with lignans and toss chia seeds in my yogurt.
By day 3 afterward, I was feeling a lot better though I still had some fever. Two days later, on the last day I could go to the hospital walk-in clinic, I thankfully tested negative for covid, and a chest x-ray for good measure was completely clear despite a small wheeze in my lungs. I was easily tired and often congested for the next several week, with an occasional cough, but that was the extent of it.
I'm not saying this three-product combo warded off covid and am not endorsing it as such; I did the other things appropriate to fight any infection, barring one very late night finishing a work project.
But this isn't the first time I've used this combo to address an apparently impinging illness, to good effect. As long as none of the ingredients are cross-indicated with your meds (I only don't take the allergy elixir since I have to avoid feverfew) and your doctor doesn't think they'll present a problem, I'd highly recommend the threesome. Plus they're just good for you anyway.
Forget the ritzy, expensive ginger-and-turmeric shots that are one dose only. Megan's products are better as well as very reasonably priced for all the work she puts into them, and her packaging is always lovely and secure as well as recyclable and environmentally friendly.
I'll be a customer as long as she keeps making things!
