• MEGAN GURULE IS THE OWNER AND HERBALIST BEHIND WILD WOMEN HERBS, BRINGING 15 YEARS OF HEALTHCARE EXPERIENCE TO HER PLANT PRACTICE.

    After working as an EMT for nearly a decade, she obtained her BSN in 2011 and began a career as an acute care RN in a variety of settings. Although she loved being a nurse, she quickly realized that her heart was with the plants and committed grow her relationship with them over the following years.

    In 2015, she opened Herbal Moon Apothecary, which slowly grew into a self-sustaining business that allowed her to quit working as an RN and fully dedicate herself to plant healing in 2018. The following year, she opened the Wild Women Herb School and began teaching other aspiring herbalists and nature lovers how to identify and grow plants to make safe, simple plant remedies with them.

    In 2021, Herbal Moon Apothecary officially rebranded to Wild Women Herbs and relocated to a quiet 5-acre homestead near the historically rich Independence Valley in western Washington. This unexpected and exciting move gave Megan, Santiago and their three young children plenty of room grow into the big dreams they have for the future.

    Megan has enjoyed strengthening her herbal skills through the Herbal Academy, Evolutionary School of Herbalism, Chestnut School of Herbal Medicine, One Willow Apothecaries, Matthew Wood Institute of Herbalism and The Wild Rose College of Herbal Medicine.
